Never watched the show was reading through here and am wondering how most of these people are paying for these weddings...you have a social worker, an hr manager, project manager, there is no way they are paying for a 200,000+ wedding. Are you putting a second mortgage on your house? It is a bit ridiculous to quit your job to plan a wedding. I am just floored. Looking at some of the pictures I am thinking are you kidding me that cost a million dollars. This is just insane it seems that when a vendor hears the word wedding the price goes up 10x.
Project mgr do get paid very well , but some of these wedding 300k, 500k 1million you really see how these couples get ripped off. Some of the stuff is just not cute. You are left thinking how the heck was that a million $. Also a lot of the florals are overpriced . No guest will ever attend a wedding and say 'omg you you didnt get cymbidium orchids this wedding sucks" The more $ people spend the higher commission the planner get. If a planner knows a couple has no budget they will spend like there is no tomorrow.
