Gabriela and Jason
Their wedding was so beautiful. I love the reception.
Gabriela wedding dress was drop dead FAB!
I really dislike the new format of the show.
I hope they are still married.

Yeah, hundreds of thousands of dollars on a fabulous dress you wear once... etc etc. and you know what? he'll still leave the toilet seat up. (oops, the maid will get it...)
I would love to hear that part of the lavish budget for flowers included sharing, after. Surely there are other brides who may not be able to afford these gorgeous flowers, how about breaking the huge bouquets up into smaller ones and either giving them to others or selling them at a greatly discounted price? How about announcing that all the flower arrangements will be broken into MUCH smaller ones and distributed to hospitals, nursing homes and community centers? I hate to think of those fabulous flowers wilting away, unloved. And how many guests can find room, in their cars to transport home or IN their homes, for such huge and elaborate displays? I do not begrudge these couples their lovely day, no doubt they earned their money and can spend it as they choose, but it would add to the luster of their day and the memories they take with them into their new life together to know that they brought happiness to others. The impact of their wedding would expand a very long way with such a gesture. What do you think?

..the show "Platinum Brides" is to brides and parents of brides who cannot afford to shell out hundreds of thousands of dollars (and more) for their or their daughter's wedding! I'm just livid and totally incensed that a show like this is even ON the air in these times of budgeting, belt-tightening and job searching. These brides waste (yes, I said WASTE) veritable tons of cash doing nothing more than freakin' showing off to all those who must save and often scrimp, sometimes for years, enough money to give a thoughtful, loving celebration in honor of their or their child's wedding. The majority of American brides wouldn't have a budget coming anywhere in the solar system close to these society snobs and trust-fun babies and their ostentatiously obscene glitz, glitter, diamonds out the wahzoo, all for the sake of throwing it in the rest of our faces---"We've got money to burn and more and the rest of you poor losers DON'T". And this garbage is still on the air?? We yuk it up at "Bridezillas", rate dresses on "Say Yes To The Dress", and have some fun with "Rich Bride, Poor Bride" (though again~~~there's that caste division rearing its ugly head again with that terrible title). But this show is filthy, dirty, snippy (talk about snippy---see "Four Weddings" for some true bride/bitches!), condescending, nose-in-the-air TV pollution. WeTV, you should be hanging your collective heads in shame and offering the vast majority of the brides in the United State and Canada a sincere apology for showing such a blatant, thoroughly disgusting display of wealth and snobbery. You don't think we all want weddings like this or to give our dear daughters weddings like this? It's like you're making fun of all the tasteful, thoughtfully-planned-for-and painstakingly saved-for weddings and receptions that I would wager 95% of American brides have.
My outrage has no end. There are so many tasteless, outrageously ridiculous shows on TV now and WeTV has certainly dumped their own personal load of dreck right in there with them with the pathetically idiotic "Platinum Weddings". SHAME on you!

In reading about Sabrina and Danish's wedding I saw that a lot of people weren't really into the new format of the show. I understand they want to take Platinum Weddings into a different direction, but this direction is terrible.
The new narrator is annoying and brow-beating the viewer about how much everything costs every nano-second is really annoying. I understand the target audience of that show is for the bride with an unlimited budget, but maybe there is a way to revamp the show without truly giving budget brides who watch PW that "Look what we have and you don't, na-na-na-na-na" feel.
Drop dead beautiful.
I didn't like the new layout for the show, the women's voice is annoying. I wonder why did they change it.
I love the colors of Sabrina's and Danish wedding.
Just Fab!
After watching PW's for several years now, with all the money spent on their weddings, I've often wondered how many of those Platinum couples have managed to keep the MARRIAGE together?
Does anyone know what happens to all the decor (flowers, linens, etc), AFTER the wedding is over? Do the couples just pitch everything in the trash? Do they donate the flowers to hospitals, shelters, etc? Do they keep all that linen & china or share it with guests & family afterwards? And what happens to the furniture made especially for the receptions?
This wedding was more than amazing. Can anyone tell me where Natasha purchased her hair jewelry? I would love to purchase it for my wedding in Sept. 2010.
