Ok, so I was watching TV and I do not remember if it was even whose wedding was it anways? or platinum weddings? or some other wedding show. But it was back in July when I saw the episode. BUT I do not remember where the location of the wedding was!
It took place in a HUGE BEAUTIFUL horse stable, housed about 100 stables give or take, and it was so glamourous and extaordinary. Chandaliers hung everywhere, and throughout the wedding, guests were able to walk up to horses and pet them. I am NOT talking about Martha Stewarts wedding show either. PLEASE ANYONE HELP ME. I fell in LOVE with the venue and have been lookin for it ever since! :(

The weddings are wonderrful yet we must remember that the marriage is the most important thing. Lots of couples forget because they are still caught up in the fantasy.

I would like to know why these couples think they have to spend so much money on their weddings. You are no more married spending a million or more on a wedding than someone who spends just a few hundred dollars. I would also like to know how many of these couples are still married. I have been married for 28 years in December and we spent less than 1500.00 and the wedding was beautiful!!

I am a live event artist and I want to know how to get on a wedding show. I've painted dozens of weddings and guest always marvel at how unique and wonderful it is to have an artist paint the wedding live. It is a great gift, too.

Never watched the show was reading through here and am wondering how most of these people are paying for these weddings...you have a social worker, an hr manager, project manager, there is no way they are paying for a 200,000+ wedding. Are you putting a second mortgage on your house? It is a bit ridiculous to quit your job to plan a wedding. I am just floored. Looking at some of the pictures I am thinking are you kidding me that cost a million dollars. This is just insane it seems that when a vendor hears the word wedding the price goes up 10x.

I don't normally watch reality shows. However, I am getting married to my girlfriend of six years in November so I figured I could indulge in a little guilty pleasure. Usually, the Platinum Wedding couples are total douches but Chris and Tamra just made my heart melt! I just wanted to say that. Yes, it was an expensive wedding but the expensive seemed to be based more on loving your mate and wanting friends and family to just revel in their joy! That's how my fiance and I feel. We are happy and want to just share share with our love ones! So, loved this episode!

I really enjoy this show, some strange guilty pleasure, but cannot help but think -every single episode- this is ONE day, people are starving, etc......
seems so very - silly kind-of. everyone enjoyes a great party with good food & music but it does not have to cost $100k+, period.

I recently attended a friend's wedding where she hired an artist to paint during the reception - live and in person. I had never seen it before and wanted to spread the word.
