Rich Bride, Poor BrideTALK

I began my planning with asking my 3 future sister - in - laws to be my bridesmaids. One by one after a couple months they backed out and to this day won't talk to me. I have asked them why and can get no answers. I asked my best friend to step in and be a bridesmaid. Everything was going great and she was doing a fantastic job helping me plan the wedding. Out of the clear blue sky she has stopped talking to me and refuses to help with any of the planning. So that leaves me and me alone to do the planning, putting the invitations together, decorating the hall and the Church. Some may think that maybe I have been a brideszilla but that is not the case. I have not talked to any of them in months. I am totally baffled as to what is going on. Does anyone have any ideas on what I need to do? This is a do it yourself type wedding due to the cost of a wedding. We can't afford to have a wedding planner so basicly I guess I'm stuck. Do we call the whole thing off?

I have been looking for a wedding dress for months, with no luck. But, when I caught the tail end of the Rich Bride Poor Bride episode with Andrew and Sabrina, I found myself falling in love with her dress! It's what I've been looking for... sweetheart top, side swept, and simple.... no bling, no lace, etc.... simple and pretty!
So if you know the designer or where I can find one like it, PLEASE let me know! Thanks!

can anyone tell me where she got her dress. It's gorgeous and the price tag of a little over 1K is fabulous.

Jaime--You got to eat after the wedding, you are not madonna bring it down a inch or two. If you want a bigger then life wedding, then you pay for your own wedding. Jaime you can't argue with other people money.

Jaime's Mother-- Yes, you are paying, but remember it is your daughters weddings. You had your time to shine,let it be about your daughter. Jaime's mother could have talk with her daughter,about switch in new plains.

The cake was beautiful but not for 4k. You could have took some of that money and put it with the centerpieces. I hope people ate the cake.

I'm getting married in St Thomas and want to rent a monkey for the wedding. Anyone have any connections? or know how to find one and stay on a budget?

I felt bad that the glasses were misspelled. I don't know why they didn't have him put a frosted band over where the word Socable was. It would cost some money but not as much as new glasses. If she didn't want to pay, she could have taken them home and used a chemical agent to etch them. You have to be careful but it would work. I used it on my medicine cabinet mirror to give it a little upgrade.

I really think the guy should have asked her if she meant to spell the word that way. If it was an inside joke then she would have told him that in a email, it would have saved a big headache.

Oh well 30 years from now everyone will look at those glasses and laugh and remember the good time they had, it will be a inside joke.

I understand trying to stay on budget and I think Judy compromised well in the give and take. She was willing to change her mind about things like the napkins, wine etc. She even went along with the four-wheeling photo experience which most brides would have said no and never looked back.
