My Miracle
Hello, My name is Malisa and I am 28 years old and I am getting married soon, I just watched your show both episodes of My Fair Wedding, I had to record them because I was at work. After watching the first I just began to cry my TEARS JUST BEGAN FALLING FROM MY FACE. I am in almost the very same shoes as Jennifer from the show. I am trying so very hard to pull off the wedding of my dreams and yet I have to resort to fake flowers, a venue I hate so so much and a menu that only makes me think people are going to laugh at me. I even have an old arch made of wood and spray painted that seems to be 100 yrs old. I feel as if though......... I can't really say how I feel because it just makes me want to cry. It is supposed to be the best day of my life and all I feel is sad. When I saw your show and how TRULY BEAUTIFUL David Tutera made her wedding it felt like magic and I know that sounds corny but it is so true. I have lost a lot of weight for my wedding but still feel like it was all so I can have some disaster wedding??? I don't know how to ask for your help or even describe what it would mean to me and my fiance Alfonso if WE TV & David Tutera would consider helping us with our wedding. We have had so many let down in our life together this far such as concieving a child and a flood in our home, I just want one thing, one thing beside our love for eachother to go truly right. I don't want to give a sob story, I just want the MAGIC FAIRYTALE to happen to me. Lastly I want to say I love the show and I love what WE TV is doing for many women in the world today. I know how hard it is to do things on your own, what u wrote touch me and so many ways. I am going to something like that as well. My boyfriend and i have been together for 6 years now, we been high school sweetheart. We have gone through enough in the pass 2 years. I just wish i can also have a nice wedding in my life. i really had nothing in my life that i can call my own , snice my dad lost his job everything when down hill. we lost everthing even are home, all the money that my boyfriend and i had for the weeding is gone on bills to help out. My younger sister ran off and got married , and how life is here in miami hard with hardly no job my family and i have to help them. i am very thankfull for my family being so close. I know exactly how you feel. I just watched those episodes myself and tears came to my eyes. My fiance and I set our wedding date for June 20th 2009 we sat and watch My Fair Wedding together last night and we started to talk about pushing our date back a whole year. I would hate to wait that long for our special day I couldnt be more excited about it approaching, but we have a huge budget issue. He doesnt want to get married without me being able to have everything he believes I deserve. He wants me to have that fairytale wedding that every woman dreams of! I was looking to see if maybe there was anyway to register for some of the shows because they just make everything so magical and I would love for that to happen to us. I would be happy with anything I dont feel I need anything elaborate but he dont want to look back and feel like he didnt give me the best of everything, This is one reason I love him so much. Im a queen in his eyes and I too would like some advice on how to plan our wedding with next to nothing in our pockets! I don't know where you live or what your budget is but it's amazing what you can do if you are a little creative and think outside the box. It sounds like you already bought or booked alot of things though so not sure how much you could change now. Well without a show swooping in.
