I want to begin a blog on here, a place where I can openly discuss my life, my marriage, my private "issues" and get feedback from other women. I've never done anything like this before & think this MAY be the place my thoughts & opinions could be accepted. I'm just not sure how to get started? If anyone can tell me how, would be greatly appreciated. The episodes I can specifically relate to are mistresses & women who cheat. I'm also wondering if there's anyone else out there who may be able to discuss these issues with me, out of personal experiences? I look forward to any info I can get.

Ellen and I were on this show a couple years ago and we feel it's important that we update our information. Our legal right to marry was granted in our state this summer by the courts who ruled it was our right to do so under the state constitution. We were married in our home on Halloween with a few of our close friends present. 4 days after our ceremony the state voted to remove our right to legally marry via proposition 8 that narrowly passed. We are currently in limbo waiting to hear if our marriage is still valid. We are still hearing from viewers who see our show in reruns and on youtube and we want to express our appreciation for all the support. We will continue to fight for our civil rights to equality under the law.

I just watched the sex addicts last nite, I have to admit, I"m a little bit jealous of the gal, can't recall her name, that is in to the S&M and BDS&M..I've always wanted to try it, but have never had the courage!! Sure, I've been tied up before, but nothing more than a little slap of the hand on my butt..I'd sure like to give the serious stuff a try sometime!!!

First off, I want to say that I am open minded to other's beliefs. I am not one to say that ghosts don't exist, or a person must be crazy to say they are a witch. My comment is one of observation. Why is it that 90% of the people showcased in this episode are extremely obese and fairly young? It makes me wonder if all of this darkness and mystery these people surround themselves with is due to the fact that they are not readily accepted in society because of their physical appearance. This assumption is not because I condemn over weight people. I am one of them. I know the picuture of perfection the media is constantly shoving in our faces can really do psychological damage. This episode reminds of high school. When all the kids who chose to be Goth were the social outcasts. The unpolular, over weight and ridiculed kids created their own way of being accepted. They gathered all the hatred for their cruel classmates and fantasized that they had special powers to bring justice to themselves. After having watched this episode, I have this opinion. There's nothing wrong with wanting to be different, but these women aren't teenagers anymore. I love Halloween. I love the fact that on one special dark and magical night "I" (the less than perfect beauty) can be anything I want!!!!! I think these women took that to the extreme. Everyday is a secret Halloween. Sex and dating has turned to playing vampire and willing victim. There are people who will love you and think you are sexy without having to put on a pair of fangs and pretend to like drinking blood as a sexual turn-on. Hating yourself can do such damage to all that surrounds you. It can make you ill and impair your good judgement. I can relate to that teenage dream of being a magical creature and casting spells on the privileged and cruel kids I went to school with. I'm sure we've all been there, but these unfortunate women have decided to spend the rest of their young lives admitting it over and over in a painful self destructive cycle that will only lead to more sadness, rejection and eventual perpetual loneliness.

Watched the plastic surgery episode last night with hubby. Jennifer was the only one we felt deserved all that plastic surgery. She still looked like a man but still seemed to be very intelligent and had a level head on her shoulders. I feel bad her family isn't involved in her life. It would be difficult but she seemed the most "normal" of other people I've seen on show with gender issues.
The other two disgusted us. The fact Allison's husband suggested plastic surgery says alot about him. Wonder what his political office is? Probably wanted a trophy wife and knew it wouldn't look good for his "career". I'm really concerned to what that teaches her young daughter. The breast augementation is understandable after 5 kids but she know looks like their older sister then their mom.
Similiar concerns regarding Monica too. I've always felt gastric bypass was cheating for 99% of the people that have gotten it. As far as the skin issue, I wonder how much excercise could fix some of that. I know some has to be surgically removed, but a nose job is not a necessity. I can't believe she is spending that much money on herself with two small children at home. And when did a hair salon make that much money, even in a big city??
