Thanks Lisa Marie!
Hi there. My name is Jennifer Ward. I am Lisa Marie's partner in http://www.hourglassfashions.com and you will see me dressed in black side slit slacks and a cute black top, during the segment about Hourglass Fashions.
I met Lisa many years ago when I was scared to show off my body and always covered my arms, and wore baggy clothing. After I got to know Lisa Marie with all of her confidence she really inspired me to stop hiding behind my fat and start living my life. I started to do the same for other women whenever possible, using photography and now I work at Club Bounce as the club photographer. This allows me to watch women literally change before my eyes. Women who used to hide from my camera, now grab my arm as I walk by and ask me to take their photos each week, striking a Diva pose and showing off those fabulous curves. When you look at the club photos and Ladies Room Chronicle videos each week at http://www.clubbounce.net ,you can really see how much fun these men and women are having and it makes you want to be a part of it. I'm not sure I would be the woman I am today if it weren't for my friendship with Lisa Marie and I feel honored to be a part of the important size acceptance movement she is championing.
When you go to Hourglass Fashions you will see that our goal is to celebrate women's curves with our designs. We strive to give our customers a chance to feel beautiful and sexy and not hide their bodies in mountains of fabric. We have hundreds of color and style options so you never have to look the same as your friend and you get options that aren't normally available to Big Beautiful Women. We also showcase most of our designs on beautiful plus size women so you know how an item will look on your curves and prove that you don't have to be a size 6 to be beautiful and sexy!
With much love,
Jennygirl (Jennifer Ward)

Oh my gross. Fat women in see-through lingerie?!?!? Gack. Why don't you get real and get healthy!??!? That is just sickening.
wow...you sound like anything but a Happy Fat Woman as you call yourself... Have you ever been to a regular sized nightclub? Do you know how they dress? they dress to impress and aren't ashamed to show some cleavage! If you came to the club expecting fat girls in moomoos and kaftans then you were obviously dissapointed! Club Bounce is full of women who are not ashamed of who they are. These women wear anything from a mini dress to a t-shirt and jeans just like in any regular sized club. If they are comfortable then that is what matters. Why should Bounce be any different? I think it's wrong for you to push your insecurities onto Club Bounce and it's promoter.
Do you fault all size related businesses? Or just this one?
Also as far as hookups go...i am there every weekend and don't get approached for sex ...guys flirt with me and that's as far as it goes. It's all about how you approach a situation. Most men have one thing on their mind LOL DUH! They are men LOL If you don't put out the vibe then you won't get approached for that. You can dance and have fun without having sex at the end of the night hon...and in every night club in America there are men there lookin to hook up. Do you think fat people and their admirers will be any different? The point is that big girls and guys are just like everyone else...stop expecting them to be virgins and shrews who wear baggy clothes and for people to stand around and never approach anyone.
Just my opinion...
Jenny,
It was so odd to look up and see Club bounce on TV, Lisa Marie and Cher. I live in LA and have gone to Club bounce and remember the BBW Club wars of a few years ago. The ugliness of all of that turned me off from going to what I conclude are fat fetish clubs. There is an expectation that the men who go there are going to get easy sex, while there is nothing wrong with consenting adults getting together, the horror for a newly happy fat woman being approached by a man with expectations. It's sad to me to watch you all using fat women to make money. Those who have never been will know the truth the moment they entire bounce or join your online site, look at the overtly sexual clothing, the same it was said as what you would find at Fredericks, it was called club wear...really? What type of clubs are you going to? In non-sized clubs, they are not all wearing clothing best left for a stripper pole. Why do you push so hard for the women at Bounce to dress so provocatively, how does that relate to feeling good about oneself?
If any women are going out to Club Bounce, please, please be aware and pay attention to who you are talking with and look for the ques. This club is not the dance club they portrayed on this program imho.
My opinion, the way I see it and how I feel about it.
