I really hope and pray that she is able to find a place to complete the process of correcting the birth defect (being born with a male body) she never asked to be born with. Is there any way to get an update on her. As a disabled person myself there is always the fear that my medical condition will prohibit me from getting the surgery, and here I saw my fears realized in her life. My heart goes out to her, and I really want her to be able to get the surgery so that she can finally achieve peace in life and move forward.
I am so happy to hear that Emori has had her surgery. And of all the doctors in the world, Toby Melzer was the one to perform the surgery. He was my surgeon back in April 1998 when he was located in Portland, Oregon. It was going to be my suggestion for Emori to contact Dr. Melzer, but she must have done her research. Congratulations Emori!! :-)
Emeri is a friend of mine, and yes, she did get surgery! She got both lower surgery and breast implants with Tobi Meltzer in AZ on August 8th, 2007. Everything went well, and she is now teaching school in China! :)
