Wedding Photographer
I have done wedding photography under other photographers for over 4 years as a primary and secondary shooter. I have finally decided to step out on my own now that I have the skill and equipment to match my ambitions. You should try to network with different wedding vendors, especially planners. I am an event planner. We have a few photographers that we use regularly that connected with us through email. We set an appointment to meet with them to see their work and get a feel for their work ethic. We have recommended them since then. Event planners need a different variety of photography styles and prices. Maybe you should try that. You certainly have something different to share with them (I saw your website). Also, try to hook up with different venues and see if you can shoot their open houses for free in exchange for promotion at the event (marketing of some sort). Venues have open houses for people in the wedding industry and engaged couples to show off their venue. At the event, you can pass out your business cards and network. I found a photographer at one of these events that we work with a lot! I hope this helps!
