just watched a tivod Amazing Wedding Cakes

Well, we just got married in July of this year and we had found the cake we wanted with all the right colors and it was going to be for a small intimate group, we even made the trip from Indiana to Tennessee to taste our cake, see our venue and talk with what she calls herself a wedding planner/consultant, if that is an example of what one of those types of positions are, I don't ever want one again. Now, we emailed first, then we took pictures to TN and they said no problem at all, we will do this in fondant and airbrush your colors on and then use the georgous cake topper that we sent to them, this is what we got!!!! A buttercream, white cake, 2-tiers stacked (we wanted tiered with our color of flowers around the base and the middle) and on top of that they use gross grain purple ribbon on a buttercream cake that sat out in the direct TN 97 degree and 90% humitidy for over 2-1/2 hours. By the time we got to it, it was nothing but slim. Maybe one day I will have this beautiful cake of my dreams, it's not over the top, it's just beautiful. That's all we wanted was that and they offered to make my husband a groom's cake and they never did, even though we cam up with all the ideas and they just never happened. Our cake tasted like it had been made 2 weeks before our wedding and tasted nothing like the cake tasting we went to. All we really wanted for our wedding was some pretty flowers, a nice cake, great pictures and to look nice for one another, none of that happened for the exception of my husband looking very, very handsome and sexy, but he could wear a town and that would be true, he did his part, I guess I just didn't do mine. Watch out for people that say they are going to make you a great cake, cuz you'll never know what you'll get.
