| Ellin is concerned about the dynamics at the salon. Her stylists are upset about the hiring of a quirky new ?junior? stylist, and Yvonne and Kim disagree about how the front desk should be run. So, Ellin and Jeff decide to bring back the ?life coach? from Season 1, the goofy, yet well-intentioned Walter. This time Walter observes the group for a day to see how they work in their natural environment. Observing behavior, jotting notes and creating tasks, Walter tries to rebuild team spirit and create a better working environment. Unfortunately, the plan backfires, when his coaching tools wreak havoc. Kim freaks out on Walter and breaks down to Jeff, as Tawana and Z (the new assistant) get into a fight over nothing. Ellin mediates the fight while Jeff comforts Kim. In the end, Tawana is still not happy, and Ellin has to wonder, does a group hug do more harm than good? | |
