This John Edward Cross Country episode takes a deeper look at the process of psychic mediumship. At the top of the show John answers audience questions. This leads directly into the first reading for Suzie and Bill, who came all the way from Corvallis, Montana to see John in New York. Their son Christopher had died in a car accident. “Will they ever re-connect?” “Was it a suicide?” A visit to Montana reveals how their amazing reading reinforced Chris’s family’s faith in the after-life, and resolves Chris’s intent the night he died.

Next, an old boyfriend and a father figure come through for Kelley. Her mother sitting next to her receives messages through John that “someone is being mean to her” and that a medical situation needs to be taken care of. Both messages are acknowledged, and courses of actions to remedy the situations were taken. John follows up with these women when he visits them in Newark, NJ months after the reading.

The second half of John Edward Cross Country launches a new direction for understanding communicating with the other side on television. John invites three acclaimed colleagues to read his studio audience. They are Jonathan Louis, Char Margolis, and Robert Brown. Their styles and approaches are commented on by John, so we all can further understand connecting with the spirit world. After they read, John and his three psychic guests sit together for an unprecedented question and answer period and discussion.
