Soul Song


Thanks for taking the time to read my blog. Episode 312 of John Edward Cross County is entitled "Soul Song." Since becoming an Executive Producer, I have had the opportunity to contribute to companion TV show websites for over 15 years, and I can attest that the subjects at hand rarely come into play. For me the beauty of the web is that it’s not for everybody, rather for a select group who share similar interests. Having you as John’s fans means that we have something in common...shall we say, the appreciation for more than meets the eye? I’m confident that John will be a psychic spokesman on the Internet for years to come, just as he has been on TV. Oh yeah, the episode. You see, months back we solicited a special contest on WEtv.com. The contest was to win a personalized soul song written and performed by our "Beautiful Soul" songstress Cindy Campo. Then, we would feature a story about whom the song was composed for. Show 312 is that episode. I am extremely thrilled that we had approximately 250 applications. I’m equally impressed with the great effort our production team put into this. The applications were narrowed down to three by the network. Then, ultimately one lucky winner was chosen. In TV the word interactive has been bantered around. But this interactive application, with a web contest and network payoff is truly a multi-platform exercise that worked beyond my wildest dreams. The segment introduces us to a wonderful family. I’m not going to let on who it is, or tell you about their amazing story of love. You’ll have to watch the episode. I can’t wait until I have the opportunity to once again make wonderful interactive programs for you. Of course this is a collaborative effort.
