The Grand Prize is a 4-day trip to the Essence Music Festival® in New Orleans on July 6th - July 9th. A meet and greet with Mary Mary while you are at the Essence Music Festival®, and $2,500 is prize money.

Yes. The winner of the contest is allowed one guest. The grand prize is limited to two people.

You will meet Mary Mary at the Essence Music Festival® in New Orleans, July 6-8th. An exact time and place during the festival has not been determined at this time. WE tv will pay for travel expenses.

A representative from WE tv will contact the winning party to coordinate fulfillment of the grand prize.

There are two rounds. The semi-final round and the finals.

The semi-final round lasts for 9 weeks. During this round users will be able to enter the contest be submitting there own 60-90 second version of one of three Mary Mary songs. Users will also be able to vote on all entries during this time. Voting during this round lasts from March 19th at Noon (EST) to May 21st at Noon (EST). However, submissions will only last from March 19th at Noon (EST) to May 18th at Noon (EST).

The top 10 vote getters from the semi-final round will advance to the final round.

During the final round, voting is closed. Only the top 10 vote getters from the semi-final round reach the finals. Mary Mary will deliberate at this time and choose a grand prize winner. This round lasts 1 week. From May 21st at Noon (EST) to May 28th at Noon (EST).

Only 10 entrants make it to the final round. These are the top 10 videos as chosen by our users during the semi-final round.

You are allowed to vote on one specific entry, once per day. However, you can vote on as many different entries as you would like every day.

Your video may have been rejected for a few reasons.

• It was shorter than 60 seconds.
• It was longer than 90 seconds long.
• It featured pre-recorded accompaniment.
• There were logos or other licensed elements.
• The video violates federal law.

You may only have one video submission at a time. If your video is rejected for any reason, you can resubmit.

Entrants will be disqualified if automatic voting software is used in their favor.

Visitors to the website will be invited to vote on their favorite submissions during the semi-final round. The top 10 vote-getters from this round will move to the final round, where Mary Mary will pick a winner. Submissions in this round will be judged on creativity, vocal talent, and overall charm.

Entrants will be disqualified if automatic voting software is used in their favor.
