Heather and Joshua met eight years ago in high school and this young couple reminded me of exactly why I work on My Fair Wedding. The day I met these two, all they talked about was how much they loved one another and that they want their wedding to be all about fun! I am so fortunate to be able to be surrounded by love and beautiful human beings so often.
Weddings can be stressful. Sometimes when I’m doing speaking appearances around the country, I’ll ask the brides in the audience: 1. How many months away is their wedding? and 2. What’s their stress level? As a wedding planner, I want to take on every bit of negativity, stress, and confusion you may have while planning your wedding. It should be all about fun! You are about to marry the person of your DREAMS! How lucky are you that you have divinely met your partner for life? You are so fortunate. Congratulations. Don’t let wedding planning bring you down.
Heather was such a wonderful, easy-going bride to work with. On our special day together, Heather, Joshua, and I headed out to Knott’s Berry Farm for a day of rollercoaster rides, amusement parks, and fun!! What else does a bride-to-be need a week before her wedding? Certainly not last-minute planning and chaos.
It’s hard to set aside time for yourself during the wedding planning process. If you’re taking on the task of planning your own wedding, it becomes even more difficult. Please remember to take care of yourself. Please remember to have a wonderful time and enjoy every moment; this is the one opportunity you have to plan your dream wedding. Enjoy it! Don’t let the small stuff get to you.
Heather’s hearts and pink theme was a delight to work with. Not only were there hot dogs, jugglers, and Valentine’s heart candies but the entire room was pink – pink wedding cake, pink linens, pink florals. I am so happy to have been reminded by Heather and Joshua’s quintessential, sincere, genuine love that that’s what my job is all about: love. I love being able to bring happiness to couples. Congratulations on YOUR recent wedding or soon-to-be wedding or wedding that you’ve envisioned but haven’t found the right person for yet! Enjoy your planning process and always remember the love.
