How to have this honeymoon: Many cruise lines have opened up routes to the Panama Canal lately. Kristi and Larry traveled on the Royal Caribbean Jewel of the Seas, on a 12-day itinerary. This is a pretty good pick for young honeymooners. Other lines, including Lindblad Expeditions and Holland America, also travel to Panama, but the itineraries are slightly longer, the demographic older, and the price point higher. Note that if you plan on going, it should be sometime between November, when the rainy season ends, and April, the end of Panama cruise season.
