Just like running for President, becoming the next American PresiPET isn't easy. Sure, the First Family isn’t expecting their pet to solve the economic crisis or bring about world peace, but there are important factors that the Obamas should consider.
President-elect Barack Obama has told the nation he is looking to adopt a hypoallergenic dog from a shelter. But, as history shows, there are other tasks that come with the top dog rank. Here's a look back at some of the wackiest, memorable and most talked about presidential pet lessons that may help one canine candidate get its paw in the White House door.
