With a guest count of 450, the Mehendi party is bigger than a lot of weddings. The space at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel was completely transformed with draped out walls, 20 colorful gazebos furnished with white lounge furniture, and a red chandelier in each one.

The “mehendi” is a centuries-old tradition welcoming the bride’s entry to womanhood with food, dancing, music and henna painting.
