The cake was designed by Mandarin Oriental pastry chef, which consisted of a five-tier cake made of two flavors both in which represented each culture. The Latin flavor was Dulce de Leche with chocolate cake and the other was Youzo (Asian fruit) with vanilla cake. The cake was adorned with Asian fans made of sugar.
