Meredith and Paul are avid proponents of the Calorie Restricted Diet; they’ve lived it for over 14 years. Their extreme diet revolves around limiting their intake of calories and fasting. Meredith’s daily routine starts at 5:00am and between then and the hour of 1 o’clock she eats around 1200 calories, which comprises of mainly vegetables, fruits, olive oil and nuts, she then fasts for the rest of the day. Meredith says she can go without food for 14-16 hours, but claims her health has improved tremendously. Both Paul and Meredith have made The Calorie Restriction Diet – otherwise known by critics as the Starvation diet very much apart of their life. They firmly believe in tracking their intake using detailed measurements, including a gluco-meter to measure levels of glucose in each of their meals.
