Diane grew up in a family that believes it’s okay to shop because "all Americans have debt." Since her childhood she’s been addicted to shopping and recalls spending every last cent in her pocket. Diane is a shopaholic who is addicted to buying antiques, with a collection of antique dolls, fine jewelry and fine art. She is currently in $55,000 debt, but can’t help the temptation to buy. Although Diane’s husband stands against her shopping addiction, he hasn’t been able to stop her. After repaying all her debt and getting into debt again, Diane has finally sought help. She’s tried everything, from Debtors Anonymous to hypnotherapy, but nothing has worked. We get a glimpse into Diane’s life, as she shops in her favorite stores and introduces her antique collections.
