These four women are looking abroad to find love. What some call controversial, they find to be completely normal. These are the true stories of mail order brides. As a young, successful 20-something living in St. Petersburg, Russia, Tanya was finding it difficult to find love. So Tanya decided to answer an ad she found in a local newspaper advertising "love in America." Within months found herself in America marrying the man she says is the love of her life. Ever since Anna was a teen, she always seemed to find herself in relationships with men that didn’t really meet her needs. By the time Anna turned 19 she realized she wanted to get married and find a good man that would be able to take care of her. She knew she wouldn’t be able to get that in the Ukraine, so she decided to try a different approach to finding her future husband: signing up with a marriage agency. Born and raised in Odessa, Ukraine, Valeria and Nastia are having a hard time finding love. Though they love their city and believe it has great things to offer, they both believe the men in Odessa leave something to be desired. They feel that Odessan men are not interested in long-term relationships or marriage but are more interested in dating and having fun. Read More About the Women >> |
