Nina Reiser’s life in the United States started with promise. A Russian doctor, she married brilliant computer entrepreneur Hans Reiser, and they started a family. But the marriage soon faltered and, in the midst of a bitter divorce and custody battle, Nina Reiser vanished. Had she run away, or was there something more sinister at play?
