Searching for Secrets
In early September 2005, 17-year-old Taylor Behl, a Virginia Commonwealth University freshman, disappeared from the Richmond campus. A police investigation eventually uncovered her association with Ben Fawley, a 38-year-old man who confessed to having sex with Taylor. After the discovery of Taylor's body, Fawley claimed that Taylor had wanted to have a sexual experience which included bondage and erotic asphyxia -- she wanted to pass out during sex -- and that she accidentally died during this activity. In a plea bargain at his trial, Fawley was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
