To Catch a Killer
In 1997 the bodies of Diane and George Patisso, their son, Frank Dosso, and their friend George Gonsalves were discovered, having been shot execution style. After more than a thousand leads, the trail finally led to a former business partner.
On December 3, 1997, when several family members didn’t show up for a birthday party, Phil and Nicoletta Dosso drove to their business in Bartow, Florida to search for them. There, they made a grisly discovery - the bodies of their daughter, Diane Patisso; her husband, George Patisso; their son, Frank Dosso; and their longtime business partner and friend, George Gonsalves. All four of them had been shot execution style. Special Agent Tommy Ray investigated more than one thousand leads, but all were dead ends except for one - Nelson Serrano. Serrano, a former business partner, had been accused of theft by Dosso and Gonsalves and eventually forced out. Serrano had an alibi, but was eventually captured and tried for the murders.
