At Cleveland’s White Flower Cake Shoppe, owner Marianne gets a little carried away when meeting with a couple who want an Italian-themed cake for their upcoming engagement party:  she suggests a leaning Tower of Pisa, an architectural challenge this bakery has never attempted before! The confection will also include a wheel of cheese, wine, grapes, olives and more. But with the clock ticking, a crack in the wine bottle and a cup of forgotten gelato...will this leaning Tower fall flat?

Over in Orange County, CA, a pair of aerospace NASA engineers asks Chris of Christopher Garren’s Cakes to “fly them to the moon.” That is, they want a space-themed wedding cake that is classy and romantic. All hands are on deck for this aeronautical design, which includes a white chocolate moon, billowy clouds and hand-painted details.

Although he is the youngest baker on the show, Vinny of Staten Island’s The Cake Artist has established quite a name for himself. He receives a request for a cake with lots of bling, but it will also need to be whopping SIX tiers to accommodate the couple’s 250 guests! Vinny and his team work to create a black-and-white quilted fondant cake, with bands of Swarovski crystals. But when the decorators cut the bands too short, it’s up to Vinny to quickly remedy the situation.
