As the Concierge for the Amsale Flagship Salon, Kori is the first person the bride's speak to and meet when arriving. Originally from Buffalo, New York, she never imagined she would be working on Madison Avenue for one of the best wedding dress designers in the world. Kori went to SUNY Geneseo and graduated with a degree in Economics and for the first 10 years of her post-graduate career worked in the financial services industry. It wasn't until she became engaged to and married her husband Brian and planned their 200+ guest wedding that she discovered she wanted a career change – her dream was to one day open her own business and she fell in love with the entire wedding process, but especially the gowns.
Kori was introduced to Emily through a mutual friend and met with her to discuss her career at Amsale and pick her brain about breaking into the business. They kept in touch for a few months and at the end of 2009 she found out the Concierge position had become available at the salon. Kori interviewed with Debbye and began working at Amsale in January 2010.
One of the biggest challenges for Kori working at Amsale was starting over again and learning about the gowns, the fabrics, and how to deal with the demands of the Manhattan bride. However, she loves that everyday is different and exciting and really enjoys meeting the bride's and their families as they make this important decision.
Overall she is loving her new career and feels so lucky to be working Emily, Linda, Lauren, Debbye and Samantha who have truly become some of her closest friends
