Alyssa Milano
Alyssa Milano literally grew up in front of television audiences as Tony Danza’s daughter Samantha in the long-running comedy series "Who’s The Boss?" She also starred for two seasons on the hit series "Melrose Place" and in The Wonderful World of Disney’s made-fortelevision movie "Gold Rush."
Milano's feature film career includes the title role in the comedy "Hugo Pool," which debuted at the 1997 Sundance Film Festival. She added executive producer to her resume with the thriller "Body Count," in which she also starred opposite actor/recording artist Ice-T. Her additional feature film credits include the Imagine Entertainment/Universal Pictures’ feature "Fear," directed by James Foley, the action/thriller "Double Dragon," "Where the Day Takes You," "Commando," starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and "Little Sister."
She has starred in several highly rated telefilms, including "Gold Rush," "Braving Alaska" and "The Surrogate." Milano was also seen in HBO Films’ "Conflict of Interest" and "Candles in the Dark," directed by Maximillian Schell.
She began her acting career in 1980 with the National Touring Company of "Annie." Milano starred in stage productions of "Tender Offer," a one-act play written by Wendy Wasserstein, "All Night Long" and the first American musical adaptation of "Jane Eyre." In 1991 she went back to her theater roots starring in and producing a Los Angeles-based production of "Butterflies Are Free."
An Internet advocate, Milano created the search engine Safesearching.com, a safe haven for Internet users, providing sites that are family friendly.
