After being killed by Asian gang thugs, Mark (guest star John Cho) becomes a ghost whose soul is up for grabs depending upon if Yama (guest star Rex Peterson), the demon who confiscates souls for hell gets him first. The sisters Haliwell can see Mark because of their powers where mere mortals can’t; meanwhile, to earn extra money for a gift for Prue’s (Shannen Doherty) birthday, Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) works as a physic at a local restaurant/bar.
