Animal Pragmatism
Phoebe is in class with her friends, Brooke, Andrea, and Tessa, when she notices they have a love spell book. Phoebe tells them the spells have to be read a certain way in order to work. Later, the girls use Phoebe’s voice to turn a pig, a snake, and a rabbit into men. The men then take off and cause havoc in town. When the animal men later confront the coeds, they learn they have only twelve hours remaining as humans. But the girls do know someone (Phoebe) who may be able to help them.
Meanwhile, Piper is caught in the middle of Leo and Dan as Valentine’s Day approaches. Leo is working at the club, which annoys Dan. But Piper tells Dan she’s with him. However, Dan later discovers that Piper bought Leo a Valentine’s Day card.
The pig and the snake break into Phoebe’s house, along with Andrea and Brooke. They don’t find Phoebe. Instead, the snake bites the girls, and tells the pig that they will die in four hours unless Phoebe helps them stay mortal. Meanwhile, Phoebe and Prue find Tessa locked in an animal cage.
Tessa admits to using the spell, and reveals the animal men are looking for Phoebe. They deduce that the men will go to the Valentine’s Day party at the club. That night the witch's frantically work to use a potion to reverse the spell that Tessa used. However, something goes wrong, turning all of the patrons in the club into animals.
Phoebe quickly does another incantation, reversing both spells. The police take the animal men into custody, and Brooke and Andrea are saved. Meanwhile, Piper tells Dan their relationship is going to take some time, then imagines she kissing Leo.
