A Dragon Warlock summons a Genie, hoping to destroy the witches by giving them what they desire, through three wishes. Leo is immediately suspicious when the Genie appears at the manor, and warns the witches not to trust him. When Prue has a boring lunch date, the Genie is able to possess her date, and grant Prue’s wish-- the ability to feel that innocent feeling of falling in love.

Piper debates telling Dan the truth about Leo. The Genie overhears Piper say she wishes Dan would move on with his life, and he grants his second wish. The Genie then returns to Phoebe and tricks her into wishing for powers like her sisters. Piper and Leo return home, and see that Dan has sold his house and is moving to Portland. Then Prue returns-- very much the teenager (per her wish). They hear Phoebe scream and rush inside to find her floating in the attic.

The witches suspect the Genie made a pact with someone when the Dragon Warlock shows up at the house. Phoebe disposes of him, but returns to realize that Teen Prue has run away. An old man shows up at the house, and Piper realizes the old man is actually Dan. Meanwhile, Teen Prue stops to pick up a hitchhiker-- the Dragon Warlock.

Piper confesses her past to Dan, who doesn’t believe her until Leo orbs in and out of the room. Meanwhile, the Dragon Warlock scares Prue into running off. Prue calls her sisters, leading them straight to the Dragon Warlock. The Dragon Warlock stabs Prue. Piper and Phoebe bring Prue home, where Leo tries to save her. But he can’t. She’s dead.

The Genie feels guilty for what’s happened. He will give up his freedom to reverse what he’s caused. Phoebe recalls the Genie and wishes for Prue to come back to life. When the Dragon Warlock appears, the three witches destroy him. Afterwards, the sisters wish for the Genie to be mortal again.

Piper is hurt when Dan says he wishes he’d never learned the truth about Piper. Piper asks the Genie to grant Dan his wish, and later leaves with Leo to meet “them.”
