Exit Strategy
Prue pacifies Phoebe inside the mausoleum as Phoebe is still upset at not hearing from Cole. Tarkin and Raynor ‘debrief’ Cole on his loyalty to the Brotherhood. Raynor states he plans to remove Phoebe’s love for him. He then tells Cole that he’s willing to forgive him if he retrieves a magical amulet from the neck of a witch.
Cole goes to talk to Phoebe and she tells him that he tries to remove an amulet from a witch, he would need the strength of the evil Belthazor. He agrees to continue a way around the Brotherhood’s order while Phoebe continues to work on a potion to strip him of evil.
Cole manages to get an amulet from LEEZA, a witch, without harming her. Raynor shimmers in after Cole leaves and incinerates Leeza, making it look as if Cole did it. The sisters enter Leeza’s shop and find her dead, but Phoebe believes it was a set up by the Brotherhood. Leo orbs in and states that if the Brotherhood gets the other half of an amulet, they will destroy them so that ‘good’ can never use them again. When Cole returns to the Brotherhood, Raynor orders him to get the other half of the amulet and to actually kill the witch this time.
Cole goes to Phoebe and begs her to hurry with the potion so he won’t have to kill another innocent person. Later, Cole and Tarkin confront JANNA and tries to capture her amulet. The Charmed Ones walk in just as the confrontation is happening. They form a force field around Janna and fight them off.
Back at the manor, Janna mixes an herbal salve to help heal a cut on Phoebe’s arm from the battle with Cole and Tarkin. Janna informs the Charmed Ones that they’ve had the billings root in their cupboard all along, the key ingredient to finding the potion to cure Cole of evil.
