We All Scream for Ice Cream
At P3, CALEB flirts with Piper from across the room, but she just ignores him. Prue is occupied with a somewhat familiar tune that she can’t get out of her head. Later, an ice cream truck slowly drives down a street with that same tune playing on its speakers. A child walks up to the truck and is sucked inside after seeing the ice cream man.
Phoebe receives an email from someone but tells Prue that it’s only an old friend. CARA then tells them both that she thought she saw VICTOR, their dad, leaving the Bay tech building. Piper and Phoebe are interested in finding him while Prue could care less. Piper checks for Victor in the Bay building but has no luck.
Prue and Phoebe follow a little girl who is humming the ice cream tune to the ice cream truck. As all three get near the truck, they are all sucked inside. Phoebe and Prue are lost inside this magical playground when they are approached by the ICE CREAM MAN (ICM). They try to use their powers against him but they do not work there. The ICM takes off and a boy named ARI asks them to help keep him away from ‘The Nothing’, a place worse than the ICM. Just then, Prue tries unsuccessfully to save a little girl who sucked into The Nothing.
Ari tells the sisters that the ICM runs The Nothing. Phoebe has a premonition of Prue as a child being rescued from the playground by a young Victor. Piper and Leo try to find Prue and Phoebe but with no luck, but Phoebe and Prue find an exit from the ice cream truck and make a run for it, trying to rescue Ari away from the ICM. To their surprise, Ari and the children turn out to be demons while the ICM is actually a protector.
Phoebe and Prue head back to the manor and tell Piper and Leo what happened, including the Phoebe’s premonition. They find Victor to help them track the ICM and the truck being that they are both mortals while Caleb tries to get Piper’s attention again. She shuns him away again. They find out that The Nothing is the only way to vanquish the demons. They track the ice cream truck and ICM to an impound yard. He apologizes for pulling them into the truck then sacrifices himself to The Nothing as The Nothing is about to pull Prue in. Prue vows to get the children vanquished inside The Nothing.
After setting a trap for the children, the sisters and Victor get the children sucked back into the truck and eventually into The Nothing. During the fight to vanquish the children, Prue and Victor saved each other’s lives, making their relationship as father-daughter a little closer.
Leo explains that Caleb has been sent by ‘them’ to replace the ICM.
