As everyone decides on a name for the baby, Paige puts in an alarm system to alert
them when a demon is trying to kill the baby. After Phoebe leaves for work, the alarm is
tripped and Piper, Leo, Paige run to the baby’s defense. The baby uses it’s own powers
to fight off the demons and Piper kills one of them. After checking the Book of
Shadows, they find that the Hawker Demon was the one not killed and he operates by
stealing magic and selling it on the black market. Suck and Leech, two other demons
wanted the baby’s force field to restore their powers to full strength after a witch’s spell
diminished it. Crone warns Hawker that Suck and Leech will bring him death.
Jason Dean buys the paper where Phoebe works. It’s apparent that Phoebe is
attracted to him, but bumps heads with him after she decides to work from home in
order to be closer to the baby, an idea Leo and Piper are not happy about. Paige
suggests going after the demons who hired Hawker and vanquish them to send a
message to any demon about the consequences of trying to kill the baby. Another
demon tries to kidnap the baby, but Piper and Leo stop them. Piper gets hurt in the
process but Leo heals her.
Jason wants to expand Phoebe’s column but she continuously tries to leave to be with
the baby and after the last attack on the baby, Leo and Piper now want Phoebe closer
for protection. Paige takes it upon herself to enter the black market alone in order to
find Suck and Leech. Once there, she finds them and tries to vanquish them but the
potion doesn’t work and she ends up in danger. Suck and Leech plan to keep Paige
alive in order to lure Piper and Phoebe to her rescue. After they kill them, they feel that
the baby will be vulnerable and therefore easy to steal his force field.
Piper and Phoebe enter the black market with a vengeance, looking for Paige. As soon
as they enter, Suck and Leech go to the manor and suck Leo’s power from him then
take the baby. Piper and Phoebe rescue Paige and start to return home. In the
meantime, Leo wakes and fights Suck and Leech enough to enter the baby’s force field.
Suck and Leech try to drain the force field, but the sisters show and vanquish one of
them. The other gets away and goes back to the black market, only to be vanquished
by Crone for bringing trouble to the black market. Crone tells Phoebe and Piper that
there will be no other attempts on the baby’s life because she doesn’t want any trouble
in her world.
Piper names the baby Wyatt Matthew Halliwell. At the paper, Phoebe apologizes to
Jason and promises to start writing with her original voice in mind.
