Cole sits at a bar getting drunk when two gunmen come in and rob the place, killing
three people in the process. Cole vanquishes them when one of them shoots him. Just
then, two Avators come in and approach Cole, wanting him to go ahead and join them
in evil powers.
Leo orbs in and tells Paige that she is getting a charge, sponsored by the Elders. Just
then, Phoebe rushes in asking Paige for the potion of vanquish Cole because she
knows that he killed the two gunmen. The other sisters convince her to only warn Cole
first, which she does. Leo guides Paige into helping find and protect an older, drunken
Whitelighter. A Darklighter tries to kill her and the sisters figure out that the
Whitelighter, SAMUEL, is actually Paige’s father. Samuel finds out from the other
sisters that Paige is his daughter then orbs out. Piper and Leo go look for him while
Paige stays with Phoebe.
Cole recruits a Darklighter to help destroy the Charmed Ones by giving him extra
powers. After Phoebe breaks the news to Paige that Samuel is her biological father,
Paige starts to leave angry until Samuel orbs in talks with her. Phoebe leaves them to
privacy but finds out from Piper and Leo that Samuel refused to see Paige due to his
own shame. The fake Samuel morphs into Cole with the Darklighter, who shoots Leo
and Paige with arrows. Later, before the Darklighter kills Samuel, Cole kills him, stating
he really wanted Samuel to save Paige. Piper finds him and gets him back to the house
where he heals himself into sobriety and forgiveness, then heals Paige followed by Leo.
The sisters start making a potion to vanquish Cole, believing he really tried to kill Leo
and Paige. After finding the right potion, they easily track Cole, who had just finished
writing a suicide love letter to Phoebe. Since Cole doesn’t put up a fight to being killed,
Phoebe figures out that it’s a suicide attempt, but Cole magically yanks the remainder of
the potion from her hand to kill himself. It doesn’t work and Cole realizes that no one
can vanquish him.
Paige talks with Samuel and discusses slowly starting a father-daughter relationship.
She then looks at her own life and decides to call an ex-boyfriend whom she dumped
for no apparent reason, other than the fact she had issues with being abandoned.
Phoebe is scared about trying to vanquish Cole, especially now knowing that he’s
indestructible. Piper promises to protect them all, being that she’s immune to Cole’s
powers.
