Paige and Glenn, an in and out of town boyfriend, recline in bed as she tells him her made of fairytale of a Prince and Princess whose love is spoiled when an evil enchantress puts a spell on the Prince. The enchantress bears the Prince’s child, kills him and rules her kingdom forever and ever. Glenn questions the story as not very ‘classic.’ A book of fairytales comes to life. The stars have aligned so the evil Enchantress summons the Princess Julia on the eve of her wedding. Princess Julia is not afraid and challenges the Enchantress that the stars are good, not evil; the Enchantress imprisons her anyway.

Piper wistfully looks through the things in Pru’s room. Back down in the kitchen Phoebe complains to her about the lack of electricity in the house even though she understands they are trying to avoid the Shocker Demon. Without thinking Phoebe picks up the cordless phone and because she has wet hair gives the demon a portal to enter the house. Piper is able to vanquish it back into an electrical outlet. They need the Power of Three to vanquish it for good and Piper suggests that Paige should move in to the manor. Piper is trying to be practical and is tired of Leo having to follow Paige around for protection. All demons trying to impress The Source are attacking them regularly now and they need the Power of Three; they question if it is emotionally too soon for Paige to move in. Piper says there is only one way to find out and that is by having her do so.

Paige’s alarm clock goes off and she is late for work. Glenn reminds her that he must leave for Australia tomorrow and urges her to be late and come back to bed. He also asks her to come with him but she says she has too many responsibilities. Piper and Phoebe show up outside her apartment and find Leo blocking the door. They barge in on her regardless; Paige is furious that she has no privacy and kicks them out.

Back in medieval times the Prince confronts the Enchantress but she puts a love spell on him; he pledges to make her his bride and bequeaths himself to her forever. The Enchantress lures him into bed.

Paige comes to the manor to look something up in the Book of Shadows. Even though Paige is angry Phoebe and Piper ask her to move in with them, Paige says they are out of their minds for asking. In the attic Paige explains that she doesn’t want witchcraft to take over her life and moving in would do just that. She looks through The Book for verification of her fairytale; she finds the Evil Enchantress listed. Paige reads the ending of the story out loud and therefore, summons the Prince to the attic. Once he sees Paige he gets down on bended knee and wants her to conceive his heir. Piper freezes the Prince to question what is going on. Paige insists on leaving because she is late for work. Phoebe and Piper tell her she can’t keep running away from these situations. Phoebe and Piper suddenly notice the TV and VCR are on but not in time to stop Shocker Demon from entering the house again. Piper is able to push him back into a socket before he inflicts too much damage. They find the Prince has left the house out the back kitchen door.
