Cole is clearly hopeful that Phoebe is pregnant when she shows some obvious symptoms.
Cole attempts to set up an alliance with other leaders of the underworld, hoping to work together to gain power. A demon approaches a banished queen to make an alternate alliance against The Source but she is not so quick to turn her back on The Source; she sends a messenger, Raven, to broker a deal with Cole.
Piper is feeling deserted in the house now that Phoebe and Cole have moved. Leo feels the solution is to continue trying to have a baby. Piper confides in Paige that she thought she was pregnant earlier in the month and is worried that fighting demons is not conducive to getting pregnant. Paige reassures her that children are in their future.
Raven, the queen’s messenger, meets with Cole but he refuses to allow the queen to join his alliance. Paige orbs into the office during the middle of this meeting and angers Cole with her constant suspicion. Raven overhears Cole’s angry discussion with Paige and takes an opportunity in the elevator to flirts with Paige – she could be his route to get to Cole. Paige invites him to join her that evening at P3 but Raven never shows. The queen is hopeful that Raven’s introduction to Paige will be the beginning of attaining great powers.
As Paige leaves P3 a swarm of bats attack her and she is bitten; she is taken to the hospital. When Phoebe witnesses the doctor drawing some of Paige’s blood she faints, giving Cole more reason to think she is pregnant. Once back at home Leo heals Paige. Cole, Piper and Phoebe figure out that the bats were actually vampires and their thought is confirmed when they witness Paige turn into a bat and fly out the window. The Book of Shadows advises that Paige can be saved only if she does not drink another’s blood and if the queen is killed. Paige goes to the queen and is instructed to lure her sisters to the dark side.
Phoebe and Piper search the cemetery for Paige while Cole goes to the underworld leaders and orders them to find the queen and to not lay a hand on Phoebe. Phoebe gets dizzy while talking to Piper in the cemetery and Piper suggests she is pregnant. Phoebe admits she took a pregnancy test but luckily it came out negative; Piper shares the same experience but admits she was saddened by her negative result. They share this intimate moment just before Paige appears as a vampire and tries to attack them. Leo shows up and throws holy water on Paige, turning her back into a bat. Leo, Phoebe and Piper orb after her and they all re-appear in a cove. The queen enters with Raven and Paige and a fight ensues. Phoebe kills Raven but the queen and Paige escape, only to run into Cole who kills the queen. He disappears before Phoebe and Piper approach and before he can finish off Paige.
