Piper is so emotionally devastated by Phoebe’s transformation that she seems willing to defend herself at any cost against her sister. Paige, however, is still motivated to fight for her sister’s return. Phoebe is cold and distant in manner but tells them about her premonition and wants to save the Innocent named Greg. Paige, Piper and Leo agree to give Phoebe a chance and see if the exposure to doing good could helps them lure her back to their world.

To protect Greg, Paige continues to follow him.
A demon tells Cole about Phoebe’s involvement in saving an Innocent and Cole vanquishes him along with all others who heard the story. Cole spares one demon, Dave, who he believes he can trust.
Phoebe’s editor is displeased with her column’s recent harsh and violent tone. Enraged, she is about to kill her boss when Cole enters the scene. Cole gives Phoebe the same ultimatum her sisters gave and she reassures him she is on his side. Cole stresses she must stay away from her sisters or the underworld will start to revolt against them. Phoebe reluctantly agrees.
Leo finds Piper at P3 drinking heavily to bury her misery; she barely survived losing Prue and doesn’t know how much more she can take. Piper explains that she feels like a failure as the oldest sister because it was her job to keep the family together. She also feels guilty about not believing Paige when she first recognized Cole’s return to evil. Leo tries to comfort her but in her current state she is easily frustrated and renders him frozen.
Paige follows Greg out of his meeting and into an alley, she urges him to walk on a more crowded street. The demon tries to attack Greg again but Paige pushes him out of the way and is able to vanquish the demon. Greg is hurt so Paige calls for Leo but he is unable to move. Paige orbs to P3 and releases Leo to come help Greg. She then directs to Leo to take Greg somewhere safe while she helps sober up Piper.
