The sisters and spouses celebrate Leo and Piper’s anniversary at P3.  Paige feels like a fifth wheel watching the two amorous couples.  She is shocked at Cole’s generosity when he presents Leo and Piper with a Hawaiian honeymoon for a gift and questions how he could afford such an extravagance. The Seer appears and summons Cole to the underworld.  She tells Cole the fertility ritual must take place tomorrow night; Cole must impregnate Phoebe with the demon seed.

Cole arrives at the manor in a new Porsche and bearing chocolates and flowers for Phoebe. He claims that his new job as an attorney affords him the luxuries.  He makes plans with Phoebe to have a honeymoon night in a posh hotel suite.  Paige, suspicious of Cole, verifies his employment with the law firm.

Piper and Phoebe shop for honeymoon lingerie and discuss Phoebe’s wanting to get a job.  They see a woman, Karen Young, wandering aimlessly in traffic and go out to rescue her. Phoebe gets a premonition of Karen being attacked by demons – she is their latest innocent in need of help.  They summon Paige home.  Cole is speaking with The Seer when the sisters arrive home; he morphs her into his law clerk, Mike.

Karen explains she lost her memory and has been confused and paranoid after leaving home in the morning.  Phoebe decides her premonition was of an event that already took place. After eating one of the chocolates laced with the fertility potion she becomes overly amorous and distracted from the sisters’ task at hand. Piper also eats one of the laced chocolates. Piper and Phoebe go to The Book of Shadows and discover that Karen was attacked by Power Broker demons; they use human bodies to store their energy and only a special potion will release the power.  While they are in the attic Cole tries to read Karen’s mind to find out what happened.  Paige enters and sees Cole using magical powers. As she questions him Piper and Phoebe enter and Cole fabricates a way to excuse himself. Paige sends Phoebe to make excuses to Karen’s boss for her so she can have a moment to express her doubts about Cole to Piper.  Piper refuses to hear Paige’s ranting and brushes her aside as a jealous sister. Cole arrives back at the house after everyone leaves and appears to Paige as Leo. Paige tells ‘Leo’ about Cole using magic and he, also, warns her of being too judgmental of Cole. Cole returns to The Seer and unfolds a plan to have Paige attacked by a Power Broker, also. This attack will render her paranoid and afraid and will help further camouflage his being The Source. He summons a Broker who immediately bows down and calls Cole ‘The Source.’

Phoebe finds Karen’s boss and ends up having to assume the innocent’s advice column duty in order to save her job.

Paige is at home cooking up the potion when Karen goes crazy and tries to leave the house. Paige stops her at the door as Cole comes in.  He warns Paige but not before the Power Broker behind her attacks. Cole then tackles the demon.  Karen has a strange power in her hands and harms Paige; Paige summons Leo and he and Piper appear.  As Leo heals Paige, Cole directs Piper to vanquish the Power Broker and Karen runs out of the house.
