Phoebe has a nightmare that she delivers a healthy, normal baby boy when only 2 months pregnant; The Seer was the doctor and absconded with her child.
Piper convinces Phoebe to get prenatal care, regardless of what effect The Seer’s tonic may have had on her baby. When the baby performs dangerous magic at the doctor’s office Piper freezes time and they agree that a traditional doctor is not what they need.
The new Source coronation is being held in the underworld. The Seer arrives and stops the ceremony by announcing that The Source’s true heir will be the one to take over ruling evil. The underworld dwellers doubt this unborn child and do not want to wait the years he will need to mature. They agree to give The Seer one day to prove her ability to help the child.
Paige and Leo are researching The Seer when Piper and Phoebe come home with the news that the baby is already performing magic. Paige comes across a spell in The Book of Shadows that wills top The Seer but they will need some of The Seer’s skin tissue. Phoebe recalls The Seer mixing some of her blood into the tonic and reminds them she has some stored in the safe at her penthouse. Phoebe leaves to retrieve the potion and turns on Paige calling her names and throwing her out the window. Paige orbs back into the attic and they realize the baby is gaining strength.
Darryl arrives escorts them to the penthouse and advises Phoebe to pack some of Cole’s things and report him missing before the law firm or anyone else notices his absence and suspects foul play. Paige and Piper retrieve the potion while Darryl takes Phoebe to the park. Paige finds nothing in the safe except an envelope from Cole to Phoebe. The Seer tries to retrieve Phoebe back into the underworld but a struggle ensues and Phoebe ends up with their needed tissue sample after the fight.
Paige makes the potion while Phoebe continues to experience her demon baby taking over. Leo joins the sisters and reports that the council believes The Seer is trying to become The Source but needs the baby to complete her transformation. Phoebe throws a fireball at Paige, knocking the potion to the floor. Phoebe and Paige must be kept apart.
Piper receives a devastating call from the doctor announcing that it may be very difficult to conceive. Piper remembers seeing her little girl when she visited the future and begins to doubt the possibility; she does not know how to break the news to Leo.
Phoebe is getting worse and Leo cannot heal her; flames sporadically shoot from her head. A demon enters and Leo warns the sisters not to touch him. Piper and Paige try to save Phoebe but the baby takes control again and kicks Paige into the demon and they both vanish.
