Season 2, Episode 10
“At The Table”
Bailey deals with the actions of her boyfriend, and the rumors that follow. The family is supportive of her. Rex has a big decision to make.
Bailey tells to Laura that she has been hit and bruised by her new boyfriend when roughhousing got out of hand. When Todd returns home, he's met with a chaotic scene: Laura, Levi, Rex, Heather and Whitney are ready to confront Bailey’s boyfriend. Bailey is near hysterical as she pleads with them not to go. Instead, Todd calls Bailey’s boyfriend and his father demanding that they have a conversation about what happened.
While Bailey is trying to work through her trauma, she finds out that the school rumor mill is in full swing. There are claims that Bailey over-reacted to what might have been some teenage roughhousing. Todd, Laura and Bailey meet with Bailey’s boyfriend and his parents to discuss the incident, but that meeting only leads to more frustration.
In the meantime, new knowledge about a possible scholarship for the triplets causes another family crises. Laura tells Whitney, Dylan and Rex that if they lived in Georgia, they could get their college education paid for with the “Hope Scholarship”, which funds Georgia high school students' college education if they maintain a 3.0 GPA. Whitney is not interested, but both Dylan and Rex are excited about the possibility.
Rex ultimately finds out the requirements have been raised to a 3.7 GPA, a standard that Rex can meet, but would eliminate Dylan. Rex now faces a dilemma, should he go to Georgia to live without Dylan? Bailey continues to be upset by what happened with her boyfriend. A friend visits Bailey and gives his version of what happened at Bailey’s boyfriend’s house. As graduation day dawns, it's an emotion-filled group that watches Heather and Bailey in their caps and gowns, receiving their diplomas. But what about Rex? Will he decide to leave the family and move to Georgia?
