Door Jam
Frasier accidentally gets his neighbor Cam Winston’s mail and is intrigued by an exclusive invitation to a mysterious locale. He and Niles are hurt that they were left out and decide to show up at the address given to find out more information.
When Frasier is denied entrance, Niles steps in pretending to be Cam and Frasier as his guest. They are delighted to discover that the facility is an elite spa. After the duo excitedly looks over the menu of massages, they enjoy of a day of pampering with all the best amenities. However, their delight turns to resentment when they discover that there is a set of gold doors leading to a better spa, to which they are denied access.
Later, Frasier and Niles voice their discontent to Roz about their spa experience. She rationalizes they will never be happy because there will always be something better. However, they are delighted to learn that Senator Ogden, one of the gold members, owes Roz a favor and can get them in.
Niles and Frasier are finally content enjoying the wonderful amenities of the gold spa, until they spot a platinum door. They refuse to be denied again. When the attendant isn’t looking, Frasier carries a “mummified” Niles through the door. They are distraught to discover what’s on the other side—a smelly dumpster with no return entrance.
Meanwhile, Martin’s enjoyment of “The Rockford Files” is spoiled by Daphne’s comment that he resembles Rockford’s father rather than the title character.
