Frasier and Niles are eager to impress their guests at an upcoming social event with the best caviar, but are unwilling to fork out the hefty $100 per ounce at the market. A man named Petyr approaches them and claims that the Russian Mafia is controlling the market and offers to sell them beluga caviar from his family’s fishing business at half price.

The guests rave about the delectable appetizer and offer Niles and Frasier extravagant perks in return for more caviar. The boys contact Petyr to place more orders and the caviar keeps arriving undercover. Frasier and Niles can’t turn the orders around fast enough to appease their acquaintances, who are growing unusually addicted to the appetizer. Their plans turns sour, however, when Petyr announces he has to cut them off because he thinks the Russian Mafia in onto him. The boys panic, realizing they will never find enough caviar in Seattle to cover their unmet orders.

Meanwhile, Martin mistakenly receives an extra $40 at the ATM. Daphne prompts him to do the right thing by returning the money, but the bank misunderstands his dilemma and gives him another $40. To top it off, they send him an apology letter and a check for $80 more. When he tries to return the money again, an overzealous security guard thinks he is trying to rob the bank and pulls a gun on him. Afterwards, the bank offers Martin $10,000 dollars for his troubles.

Desperate to cut a deal with the supplier, Frasier and Niles track down Petyr’s boat. While they are aboard, the boat is raided by U.S. Customs and the crew flees, leaving Frasier and Niles holding the caviar. They try to consume all of the evidence before getting caught, only to discover that the government is after stolen DVDs.
