The Ring Cycle
An emotional Daphne and Niles exchange their heartfelt, personal wedding vows at the “Lucky Seven” chapel in Reno. Just as they are paying the officiator, Roz calls and Daphne tells them that they’re eloping.
The happy couple returns home to announce the big news to Martin and Frasier, but before they can tell them, they express how hurt they would be if they got married without them. To spare their feelings, they slip off their rings and announce they’re getting married at the courthouse in three days. Mrs. Moon refuses to attend a civil ceremony, so Daphne makes the decision to go ahead without her. The already-married couple finds themselves faking a ceremony in front of Martin and the teary-eyed Frasier.
Before hearing the news, Mrs. Moon apologizes and tells Daphne that she couldn’t live with herself if she missed her baby’s wedding. For the third time, the couple plans to get married the next day. At the courthouse, Daphne and Niles have an unfortunate run in with Donny, who invites himself to the wedding.
After Niles recites their once sentimental vows with boredom, Daphne crumbles under the guilt and calls it off. Donny thinks she is leaving Niles at the altar and makes a fool of himself by mocking Niles. Then, everyone reacts with hostility when Roz slips about the elopement. Martin is the first to forgive them and everyone else follows as he sends the newlyweds off to enjoy their honeymoon.
