And Frasier Makes Three
When it comes to dating Charlotte, three’s a crowd. Determined to win Charlotte’s heart, Frasier plots his strategy for wooing her away from her boyfriend Frank. Step One: spotting an anthology of Irish plays in Charlotte’s briefcase, Frasier bones up on all the great Irish writers. Step Two: he invites her to a romantic dinner at his favorite French restaurant.
Unfortunately, Frank crashes the party and dominates the conversation. Frasier’s efforts to impress Charlotte by quoting famous Irishmen fail once he learns Frank’s the fan of Celtic literature, not her. Back at Frasier’s place, Martin shows off the engagement ring he plans to give Ronee. But after admitting he originally bought the diamond for an ex-girlfriend, Daphne shames him into a buying another ring.
Hoping to work his “magic,” Frasier horns in on Charlotte’s dates with Frank, who’s oblivious to Frasier’s feelings. Martin discovers that the new ring he bought at a police auction is inscribed to Lil’ Cupid, a rapper whose goods were seized in a bust, so he covers his tracks by referring to Ronee as his “Lil’ Cupid.” Meanwhile, a spat between Charlotte and Frank emboldens Frasier to admit he cares for her, and they spend the night together. The next morning, Charlotte informs Frank that she’s moving back to Chicago in several weeks – news she neglects to tell Frasier when she sends him off to work.
