Goodnight Seattle (Part Two)
Frasier follows his heart…right out of Seattle.
A very pregnant Daphne and Niles burst into the office of Dr. Hauck, a young veterinarian, to see if Hauck can extricate Martin and Ronee’s wedding rings from Eddie’s stomach. Minutes later, Daphne goes into labor and Niles faints. With the help of a nurse who happened to be in the vet’s waiting room, Hauck delivers Niles and Daphne’s baby son, David.
Martin and Ronee stop by to see David, and decide to exchange their vows in Hauck’s office, with Frasier presiding. A short time later, Frasier finds himself home alone on a rainy afternoon. His father and Ronee are on their honeymoon. Niles and Daphne are busy with the baby. Realizing it’s time to start a new chapter in his life, Frasier calls Bebe and tells her he’ll take the job in San Francisco.
The next day, Roz is tapped as the new station manager, replacing Kenny, who quit to become a deejay. That night, Frasier invites his family over for a “big announcement.” They jump to the mistaken conclusion that he’s terminally ill, so they’re greatly relieved when he says he’s just moving to San Francisco. Yet in the end, Frasier changes his mind. As his plane touches down and he says goodbye to his seatmate, Dr. Anne Ramberg, it’s revealed that Frasier has instead flown to Chicago to pursue his relationship with Charlotte.
