Dad Loves Sherry, The Boys Just Whine
Martin’s delighted reaction after his girlfriend Maureen breaks up with him surprises Frasier. He soon learns that Martin has been dating Sherry, and didn’t know how to break the news to Maureen, who made it easy on him by ditching him first.
On Martin’s birthday, Frasier and Niles are introduced to the brassy, earthy Sherry, and are embarrassed by the big, sloppy kiss she gives Martin in front of them.
As Martin’s relationship with Sherry blossoms, Frasier and Niles realize they must confront Martin about their dislike for his new girlfriend. The conversation escalates into an argument, in which all three Crane men agree that since they never like the women they’re each dating, they should just keep their opinions to themselves. Reluctantly, Frasier and Niles decide it’s best to bite their lips and accept Sherry.
