Love Bites Dog
Although Frasier hates blind dates, he’s pleasantly surprised when Roz fixes him up with her gorgeous friend Sharon. Frasier and Sharon engage in flirtatious conversation until Bulldog appears on the scene and starts talking sports with Sharon, who’s a golf pro. Clueless about sports, Frasier backs off and leaves Sharon to succumb to Bulldog’s dubious charms.
The next day, Bulldog proclaims that he’s head-over-heels in love with Sharon. Yet when Sharon turns down a second date with Bulldog, he becomes distraught and unable to work. Roz tries to talk sense into Bulldog, who has barricaded himself inside a bathroom stall, while Frasier tries to talk sports by pinch-hitting for Bulldog on his show.
Niles goes to the men’s room and tries to get Bulldog to talk about his feelings. Later, Frasier shows up and switches into “guy” mode to convince Bulldog that Sharon was a wench and he’s better off without her. This approach works, and the two men bond over their miserable luck with women.
