Roz’s Krantz And Gouldenstein Are Dead
When Frasier and Niles spot Roz picking up roadside trash as part of a community service program, they tell her that volunteering at a retirement home might be more her style. But when Roz’s first patient dies during a game of checkers, she is devastated.
After Frasier convinces her that the patient’s death wasn’t her fault, Roz returns to the home. But when her second patient also dies, Roz feels completely responsible and dubs herself “the angel of death.” At that point, Roz insists that she can’t go back to the facility, but Frasier tells her that it’s important to confront the issue, and accompanies her to the home.
When they arrive, Roz hits it off with Moira, a feisty senior citizen; and Frasier meets Norman, a blind man who once received comforting advice from Frasier’s show following the death of his wife. After accidentally dropping Norman’s plaster cast of his wife’s face, Frasier scrambles to repair it before Norman finds out -- but eventually ‘fesses up to his clumsiness. To Frasier’s relief, Norman admits that he, too, has dropped the life mask countless times.
