Roz’s Turn
A new on-air hosting spot opens up at the station, and Roz decides to go for it. She dreams of making the move from behind-the-scenes producer to bigtime star of her own call-in show, “Roz Doyle’s Love Matters.” Although Frasier doesn’t want to lose his ace producer, he supports her desire to pursue the job.
Of course, that’s before Frasier stupidly confides in his agent, Bebe, that he’s really upset over the prospect of losing Roz. To ensure that Roz sticks with her biggest client, Bebe tells the station manager that Frasier will quit if Roz is given the job.
Later, when Frasier finds out he inadvertently ruined Roz’s shot at the job, he is consumed by guilt -- guilt which only deepens when Roz turns to Frasier for consolation. It doesn’t take long for Roz to find out that she lost the spot because Frasier opened his big mouth to the wrong person. Desperate to win back Roz’s trust, Frasier insists he’ll do anything Roz wants, so she asks him to fire Bebe. However, the tables are turned when Roz and Bebe strike up an unlikely friendship.
