The Two Mrs. Cranes
Daphne is surprised when her ex-fiance, whom she hasn’t seen in five years, arrives in Seattle and wants to see her. The only trouble is, Daphne’s not sure she wants to see Clive. As she tells Frasier, the two made a pact when they split that if they were both single in five years, they would reunite and marry, yet Daphne has no interest in getting back together.
Eager to keep an eye on Daphne, a jealous Niles appears on Frasier’s door the night Clive visits. Hoping to let Clive down easily, Daphne pretends that Niles is her new husband, and of course, Niles is more than willing to play along. This ruse forces Frasier and Roz to take on the roles of Dr. Niles Crane and his lovely wife Maris.
After an evening fraught with misunderstandings, Roz develops a crush on Clive, a nd Daphne suddenly finds he rself dr awn to him again - - s o the two women end up fighting for his attention. When the truth comes out, Clive announces that he’s disgusted by the lies and deceit he’s witnessed in the Crane household, and he wants nothing to do with any of them!
